Alana Monaghan, Managing Consultant

Alana is a highly-respected, award-winning consultant with an enormous breadth of experience and more than 20 years’ experience as a public relations practitioner.

She is a specialist in the development of integrated communications strategies, particularly those that support major planning and infrastructure projects. Her experience in stakeholder engagement and issues management helped drive communications for Western Australian health reform projects for more than a decade (including the flagship Fiona Stanley Hospital), the State Government's on-demand transport reform consultation program, and a range of highly sensitive development projects for Government and the private sector.

Hailing from a sales and marketing background, Alana merges her talent for developing powerful messaging with the skilful execution of multi-faceted campaigns that shape opinions and inspire action.

Sharp-minded, creative and empathetic, she makes good use of her strategic communication skills outside of the office too, proudly sharing her passion for the AFL (she’s a Hawks fan) with anyone who’ll listen.

Alana is a member of the Curtin University Public Relations Advisory Group and the the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA). She also serves as a Board member of the Guildford Grammar School Foundation. In 2020, Alana was also recognised by the PRIA with a national Silver Award in the Professional of the Year category.
